Carrefour in Brazil received five BTC ATMswhich can be consulted in four states of the country, three of which are present in capitals occupied in the cryptocurrency sector.

This is due to the fact that the company announced the expansion in the installation of ATMs in Bitcoin (BTC) in its units, in alliance with one of the largest ATM networks for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies, Coin Cloud, which has more than 5,800 ATMs between Brazil and the United States.
Now, Carrefour Property expands the number of cryptocurrency ATMs in Brazilian territory to nine.
In the first quarter, Jardim Pamplona Shopping, in São Paulo, and the Ribeirão Preto, Osasco and Tamboré hypermarkets, in Barueri, in the São Paulo metropolitan region, were the first places to receive ATMs.
Until the end of October, five new ATMs will be installed in Carrefour Property galleries in the cities of Curitiba, Paraná, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul and Recife, Pernambuco. In the state of São Paulo, Sorocaba and São José do Rio Preto were also provided with an ATM in each municipality.
