Shiba Inu Launches Shibarium Beta Test
Shiba Inu, the popular meme cryptocurrency, has launched the beta test of Shibarium, its highly anticipated layer 2 solution. The announcement was made by Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, who stated that Layer 2 networking was necessary to facilitate a large, global, and decentralized community.
The launch of Puppynet comes at a time when the crypto market is concerned about liquidity effects around the USDC stablecoin.

The Shibarium beta test was released as a Layer 2 solution that It will allow developers to build decentralized applications (DApps). The platform will also allow the integration of real-life businesses and energy projects.
Shibarium was designed as a Layer 2 blockchain that would allow low-cost solutions to be built, burning SHIB tokens in the process. Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has confirmed that Shibarium is limited only by imagination, meaning anyone can build on it.

The Shibarium beta test is called Puppynet and is now available to developers. The beta interface contains information about network statistics, validator information, and staking functionality. Shytoshi Kusama confirmed that SHIB tokens will be burned while transactions are being processed.
The combustion mechanism is also in the process of being launched and is being adjusted by the developers. Also, a link to the official Puppynet RPC site was shared and the documentation will be shared next week so that users can set up a test node.
